Yurong Li
Chief Executive Officer
Yurong is a successful global business executive and an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in global business development, sales & marketing, key account management, general management, project management and engineering in energy and environmental industries. Through her global business development and marketing role she has built trusted international networks in technology, financial and business advisory.
Yurong established and cofounded a membrane technology company, and brought the initial investment and opened the commercial markets for the company. She was previously Global Marketing and Business Development Director for Pall Corporation’s Industrial Group and Global Business Development and Marketing Director for Eaton Corporation’s Industrial Group. Early in her career, she was a Process Engineer and Project Manager for SINOPEC Engineering Incorporation (SEI) in China.
Yurong has worked with subsidiaries, clients and alliance partners around the world in oil & gas, petroleum, chemical & petrochemicals, filtration, water treatment, compact portable water treatment, landfill leachate treatment, desalination, and air pollution control, hazardous waste disposal, biogas and renewable energy across municipal and industrial sectors.
Yurong holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stern Business School, New York University, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and HEC Paris, and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). Her language skills are Chinese (Mandarin-native) and English.
Victor Jiao
Executive Vice President
Victor is an accomplished business development leader and senior engineer with 26 years of experience proven through strategic management, business development and project engineering. Throughout his career he’s built broad network in energy sector especially in oil and gas industry, and led key breakthroughs for major projects and driven significant business growth in emerging markets.
He was previously Director for IBM Global Business Services, Director for Deloitte China, Business Development and Commercial Leader for Shell Exploration and Production Co. in China, and Business Development Leader for ConocoPhillips Asia.
Early in his career he was a senior engineer and project manager for the Major Project Office at SINOPEC Headquarter, International Business Manager for UNIPEC and Engineer for SINOPEC Planning Institute.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Machinery Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in China, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Richard Ivey Business School, The University of Western Ontario in Canada.

Eric Hoek
Dr. Eric Hoek has over 20 years of experience in water treatment research, education, philanthropic, consulting and entrepreneurial activities.
Dr. Hoek has co-founded numerous successful water technology businesses including NanoH2O, NanoMem Consulting, Water Planet, PolyCera, IntelliFlux and MembranePRO. Dr. Hoek has been an engineering professor at UC Riverside and UCLA since 2002 with over 130 peer-reviewed scientific publications and over 70 patents filed globally. He is co-editor of the John Wiley & Sons Encyclopedia of Membrane Science and the Editor in Chief of the npj Clean Water – a Nature publishing group online, open access scientific journal.
Dr. Hoek has a Ph.D. in Engineering from Yale University and completed UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, Executive MBA Program
Subir Bhattacharjee, PH.D.
Dr. Subir Bhattacharjee possesses over 25 years of experience in water technology research, education, philanthropic, consulting and entrepreneurial activities.
Dr. Bhattacharjee has co-founded numerous successful water technology ventures including EnVivAqua, Water Planet, PolyCera, IntelliFlux and MembranePRO. Dr. Bhattacharjee was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the NSERC Center for Water Quality Management in the Oil Sands at the University of Alberta from 2000 to 2014. Dr. Bhattacharjee has over 120 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 12 patents filed globally.
Dr. Bhattacharjee has a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, India and post-doctoral fellowships at UCLA and Yale University.
Ali Kalantar
Mr. Kalantar is PAT President and a world recognized desalination, water and wastewater treatment industry executive with 35 years of proven experience in all aspects of the business from engineering and design, project management, manufacturing and international business development to recruitment, operations management, corporate strategy, and finance. Mr. Kalantar was the co‐founder and CEO of two (2) successful industry leading firms: American Engineering Services and American Water Chemicals. Mr. Kalantar was CEO of Doosan Hydro Technology, recognized in 2009 as Desalination Company of the Year by Global Water Intelligence.
Hany Said
Officer. Mr. Said has over 39 years of experience in the Water Treatment and Membrane Technology business. He has held positions in all aspects of the water treatment field, including roles as an R&D Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Engineering Manager, Director, Vice President, President, and CEO. During the last 39 years, Mr. Said has set the record for the most reverse osmosis (RO) plants built with over 1,200 MGD RO plants worldwide. Mr. Said successfully founded and eventually sold AEWT, which was a well recognized and successful player in the desalination market.
